Jack is already 6 months old. How is it possible that a half of a year has already gone by??? It seems like just yesterday we were in the delivery room holding our little guy for the first time. He's definitely a growing boy. Here's what he's up to:
*He is just a jolly guy. Unless he's hungry or very tired, he's almost always got a smile for you.*He is rolling all over these days.
*He's got his first cold, with a runny nose and cough. He hates having his nose wiped. Poor little guy :-(
*He is starting to say "ba" and coos back when we talk to him.
*He loves to get dressed and undressed. Pulling shirts over his head almost always gets a smile out of him.
*He's eating more and more foods - peas and rice, mashed bananas, sweet potatoes, avacadoes, apples and butternut squash, and applesauce. So far, there hasn't been a food he doesn't like. I've been trying to make as much food as possible. When I don't make it, we try to stick with Earth's Best organic. He's also taking a little formula in addition to breastfeeding, as he is a hungry boy!
*He goes to bed about 7:00 and sleeps until 7:30 or 8:00. He takes a nap in the morning and afternoon. Recently, he and Hannah have even been napping in their room together for their afternoon naps. It's been great!
*He had his first trip away from us right before Thanksgiving. My parents took the kids home for a couple of days so that Jason and I could enjoy our anniversary sans kids. He did great!
*He continues to suck on his index and middle fingers for comfort. He also finds his feet quite tasty.
*He's fully wearing 6 month clothes. I'm sure he'll be into 9 months before we know it.
We're loving every minute watching this little guy grow up. He is a true blessing!
