Halloween 2010

As has been tradition for the past 2 years, Grandma and Grandpa Davis once again came over to celebrate the Halloween weekend with us. They really get into the festivities, especially Jason's mom. Hannah was quite surprised to be greeted by a scarecrow grandma when she awoke from her nap!

Grandma always brings a Halloween bag full of treats. This year, Hannah was super excited to get bubble gum "lipstick"!

Little Jack-o-lantern!

Actually, Jack was our little bumble bee.

On Saturday night, we got the kids dressed up in their costumes and took them to trunk-or-treat at our church. Hannah was especially happy to see her friend Jacob, dressed up as a cheeseburger!

It was so nice to trick-or-treat inside where it was warm! They had people set up in stations all the way around our commons area handing out candy. Hannah was a bit reserved at first, but eventually she really got into the fact that she was getting candy! (Notice, the costume did not last long!)

Jack was like our little claw machine. You never knew if he'd grasp a piece of candy or not!

On Sunday afternoon, Jason and Hannah carved our pumpkins.

We like happy faces at our house!

By Halloween night, Jack had had enough of his costume, and was not about to get a good picture.

Jason and his dad getting ready to take Hannah out to trick-or-treat. Jack stayed home with Jason's mom and I to hand out candy. We kept count of all of the kids coming to our door, and I think this year was a record - 282 kids!

From Jason's report, Hannah had a great time going up to doors and saying "trick-or-treat."

She walked all the way around our block with daddy and Grandpa. They came back from round 1 and then Grandpa and Grandma took Hannah back out in the wagon for round 2.

By the time she got back, she had a bag full of loot!
