Hannah has been my barefoot girl all summer long. She had a ton of shoes, but she much preferred her own bare feet. I didn't realize how much her feet had grown over the summer until I recently went through her shoe bin and cleaned out all but 2 pairs of shoes - sandals nonetheless. Even saying those sandals fit was a stretch quite literally. Her toes were actually hanging off the end of one of the 2 pairs, but it was one of the only pair of shoes she'd wear!
With the cooler temps now upon us, I decided it was more than time to buy her some new shoes. Lately she's been into soccer. I have no idea where this started, nor do I think she really knows what it is, but every ball she sees is a soccer ball. So, to coax her into actually wearing her new shoes, I told her that they are soccer shoes. That seemed to satisfy her, and now every time we want her to put them on, all I have to tell her is to put on her soccer shoes!
Trying out her new soccer shoes with her "soccer" ball with her baby and carrier in tow.
Testing them out.
Good for sports and mothering.
