As is tradition with our family, we went up north to wrap up the summer this Labor Day weekend. Since Jason's dad was working, we spent the weekend at my parents' cottage. The weather was more like fall than summer, so it was good for laboring (at least for the guys!). Regardless, it was nice to get away one last time before fall officially sets in.
Papa and the kids.
My good friend Aubrey and her son Trevor came up for the day with her parents on Saturday.
Jack with his Grand-Julie (Aubrey's mom, who is like a 2nd mom to me).
This was the best shot I could get of 3 busy toddler - Hannah, Trevor, and our niece Kara.
That night, both girls were wiped out!
On Sunday, we went down to the Association picnic where the kids played games and got prizes. Hannah really cashed in!
One last stroll on the beach for the season with Grandma, Aunt Courtney, and Kara.
I actually figured out how to wear Jack!! (I've been working on it all summer!)
Sunday night, my parents watched all 3 kids so that we could go out with Todd and Courtney. We had a great time with them. It was hard to break Courtney away from the tv, but she finally gave in (ha ha!!).
Jason being cute :-)
Papa with his girls on Monday morning. His specialty is making breakfast, so he wrapped up the summer by making pancakes, bacon, eggs, and toast!
The sun was nowhere to be found but you couldn't tell Hannah that!
Me and my girl. Goodbye summer. Hello fall!
