Antiquing

Maybe hard to believe, but Jason really loves browsing antique shops.  Funny, huh?  Up until recently, I really didn't have a desire, but since I started following several crafting and DIY blogs, I've become intrigued.  This being the case, we decided to check out the Allegan Antiques Fair to see what kind of treasures we could find.  Wow!  Were we blown away by the magnitude of this event.  It was an antique fanatic's dream!
Jason's been in the market for kiddie skis for Hannah and stumbled across these at one of the booths.  Granted, they're not for kids, but look closely and you'll understand just why Jason picked these up.  Unfortunately, I reminded him that he already has vintage skis, but these were a pretty cool find.

The kids did great.  Since a lot of the booths were outside, Hannah could roam a bit (with a very close eye on her), and Jack was content to go along for the ride.

The forecast was for partly sunny skies and mid-60 degree temps, so that's how we dressed.  Can you tell the weather man was a little off???  But hey, it wasn't snowing, right?!

We ended up not going home with anything, but I got tons of great inspiration (don't those trunks look familiar, Mom??).  The next time we go back, I need to go with a list.  It was just too overwhelming for me to aimlessly browse.  And when I say next, I definitely mean we're going back!
