Visit with Santa

We took Hannah to visit Santa tonight at Frederik Meijer Gardens. We'd been talking about him all day long, and she'd been loving on the "Hannah-sized" Santa that we have at our house. While we were in line, she kept pointing at him, but the closer we got the more unsure she became. When it was finally our turn, she turned around and put a death grip on me! She did at least get in the sleigh with him, as long as I sat with her. Thankfully, he was a very nice Santa, and at least we got a couple of decent pictures for her first visit with the man in red.

After our visit, we ventured in to check out the trees. She loved the poinsettias, even trying to hug them.

However, she loved carrying my purse around even more. She held it over her arm all night long. She got a workout, as it's just about as heavy as she is. She's already learned that a girl can't go anywhere without her purse!

Shortly after this picture was taken, I was scanning back through the pictures I had taken through the night, Jason was people watching, and although we both new that Hannah was standing in front us of us, neither of us was watching her all that closely. I noticed an older lady next to us kind of giggle, so I looked up to see what she was laughing at. Only then did I look down and notice that our daughter had half-undressed herself while she was standing there! She had her dress up over her head, and one arm out of its sleeve! Thankfully, things like that are still "cute" at her age.
