Holland Holiday

We got into the holiday mood last weekend by taking a trip down to Holland. There wasn't anything officially going on, but it was fun to stroll downtown and check out the shops all decorated in Christmas cheer.

Since it was cold out, we bundled the kids up. Jack was not thrilled to be in his teddy bear snow suit. It was like the scene out of A Christmas Story. The poor guy could not move!

Getting ready to hit the town.

While we were out and about, we stumbled upon the big guy himself! Santa Claus was at Home & Co. Hannah has been talking about Santa for the past year, but when it came down to sitting on his lap, she wanted nothing to do with it.

We opted for a family photo instead.
Before we headed home, we drove up to Spring Lake to check out Holiday Road. One whole cul-de-sac is decked out in LED choreographed to music you play through the radio. We shouldn't have been surprised by the 45 minute wait to get to the street, but it was worth it. The show was simply amazing. Hannah was totally in awe. If you're in the area this Christmas season, you should definitely make it a stop!
