Davis Christmas

Last weekend we ventured back to the other side of the state to celebrate Christmas with Jason's dad's family.

I dressed Jack in an outfit that Jason wore when he was a baby, and it fit perfectly. Too cute!

Can't forget Miss Hannah.

On Saturday night, Jason's parents watched the kids while he and I snuck out for a date. We went out to dinner and then stopped at a cute historic village that was open for the holidays on our way home.

It reminded us so much of our first date at Crossroads Village. (Yes, our actual first date, where Jason wore the pointy shoes. Only this time, we plan to stay together. No e-mail break-up letters afterward :-)

Our little elves ready for the big party. The party went off without a hitch. Much to our surprise, all but one of Jason's aunts and uncles made it to the party, plus several of his cousins that we haven't seen in a long time. It was great seeing everybody. I must add that I'm so proud of Jason. We put him on the spot and asked him to say grace with no warning. He did a great job leading us in a very nice, heartfelt prayer.
